Displacer Beast

With so many complaints about my compound origami designs, I decided to go back "basics" and do a purist origami displacer beast. The base for this creature turns out to be the same as the one for John Montroll's chimera design in Mythological Creatures and the Chinese Zodiac in Origami.

The displacer beast is described as being like a 6-legged panther with two tentacles sprouting out of its shoulders. It's inherent magical quality makes it appear to be about 2 feet from where it actually is. (I've tried to simulate this effect with the shadows.)
